Amor de mis Amores, Mexican Apettizers

The service was great. Special attention and all treatment was perfect! I would come back to enjoy the surroundings!

We thought here as chips and guacamole and cold drinks to relax after the walk of the city. The staff is friendly. Location is great on the shaded side of the square next to the Parroquia. Many people around, tourists and families. It is close to the Voladores...pole, so it would be a good place to watch the performances if you were right (we don't).

This is a beautiful location to try something Mexican near the Plaza of Tequila. The food is good and the service is very nice. You can also hear the local bands that are in the park

Had some family members visiting for a week and they wanted to visit the town of Tequila...So twenty minuets later we arrived and lucked out finding a parking spot at the Plaza.. The Danzas de los Voladores or Pole Dancers of Papantla, Veracruz were getting...ready to preform so I saw some empty seats at Restaurant Amor de mis Amores with outdoor seating next to the Plaza Jardin Hotel ... My mistake, the service was slow, the food came in shifts and was not very tasty. First it took 15 minuets for a Cafe de Olla to be served, next one guest was served Huevos Rancheros that required a steak knife to cut through, I was served 5 min.later, cold scrambled eggs with chorizo and refried beans, no salsa, no tortillas,no salt no pepper...Finally the other guess watching us eat and finish our meals was served 3 dollar size pancakes, when she asked about some honey or syrup the waiter came back with 2 small packets of strawberry jam and dropped them on the table along with the tortillas and salsa which I did not need anymore...I did taste the salsa and it was tasteless, worst salsa I have ever had in my 65 years visiting Mexico...I’ll never go back or recommend Amor de mis Amores........

Nice place on the shady side of the Zocalo for lunch and people watching. Some inside seating available too. Service friendly Spanish only) food reasonably priced. Washroom single) was OK. Our last visit the menu was sandwich based, this visit the menu is traditional...Mexican.
