Lovely staff had an issue with food and manager came over think he’s name was Mitchell dealt with it all and food was fantastic he apologised and dealt with it so well compared to times before

We visited 16th Jan 2024, afternoon. Overall the service and food is as expected from the chain, but my main complaint is how cold it was in there. I asked a number of staff if there was a problem with the heating and they said no. They said no-one else has complained. It was a cold snap. When we returned the following day, suprise, suprise temporary hired heaters appeared in a few areas, although not turned on for some reason. So why did the staff member dismiss my previous day enquiry about the heating. Please don't treat customers like this. We jeep your place running and expect truth

I’ve visited this pub twice recently. Great selection of beers and prices are very reasonable. Unfortunately both visits let down by the fact the place is freezing cold! For some reason the outer doors are chained open so there’s no lobby to keep any warmth in and every time someone enters or leaves the temperature drops.

Nice pub terrible staff very rude and unprofessional will not be returning ask to speak to manager refused nobody would tell who in charge

Visited this weatherspoons 11/12/23 Had a lovely meal here and I certainly cannot say anything awful about it. Staff appeared friendly and had good manners. I think it's one of the best around here...Well done clacton.
