Favourite Fried Chicken - Tendring

I love the delicious fast food at this restaurant and the staff, although busy, are friendly. I actually prefer this place over the colonel. The food is amazing and I highly recommend it.

Once again gave it another go. After all previous visits and home deliveries it was guaranteed that the reheated shells of what were once chips would be packaged up for us. Truly awful. Walking past I fancied some chicken as it’s always good but have stopped getting chips. On ordering I thought I might politely ask if I could have freshly cooked chips and not the ones that are reheated to nothing. I explained they had been inedible in the past. She was very nice and said no problem. I sat and waited for my food but was happy knowing I’d have good chips. Oh no, on getting home I had the same bag of absolute **** as always. So basically my wait for new chips was all false Christ knows what she was doing. Absolutely inedible hard shells of nothing. This happens no where else I have ever been. Shame on you. Chicken no complaints but throw the old chips away please stop reheating them. They are fries and will not reheat well.

Chicken was dry, hard and inedible!!! I ate the chips and all 6 pieces of chicken went in the bin!! This place used to be nice and chicken used to always be fresh! Will not be returning!

Two sundays running.. no ribs at `12.10 when they just opened! went back an hour later and no fillet of fire! thought id try again on bank holiday monday..... had to wait 25 minutes for chicken at 12.30!! why open for lunchtime if you arent going to cook any food?

I made an order online for favourite chicken, after waiting almost an hour I decided to phone up and ask if they knew how long it would be. I Was shocked to find out they hadn’t received my order even though I had paid, when I explained I had paid and could prove it with a receipt from PayPal I was told there was nothing they could do unless I wanted to pay again. I have been instructed to wait until Monday when head office opens and take it up with them. Mortified about this experience. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.
