I was invited by owners who is a good friend. I must say I'm really proud of him because he created such a great place with excellent food quality. The place is cozy and beautiful with a great traditional rest music on the background.

A very small but beautiful and cozy restaurant with local northern foods. At first the decoration and the design of the restaurant caught my attention and also I've liked their kind staffs and also their delicious foods. The range of prices is reasonable, the taste of foods are good and the only negative point is the value of fat and oil in the local foods. Totally I had enjoyed and I would come back there again. I've tried Kebab Torsh and Nardooni Chicken and both were nice.

Eating out is not just about the food. It is how food is joined with service, atmosphere and passion that makes a restaurant great. I am happy to say, Gile-Gol Restaurant has successfully combined all of the ingredients needed to create a restaurant that I will go to, not because I want Gilani food, but because it is a great restaurant. The restaurant’s menu has all the great culinary hits from Gilan; but what makes this restaurant standout is the owner’s passion for authenticity and the absolute avoidance of mediocracy. We tried the Kabab Torsh and Shami Torsh which were head and shoulders above anything that you find in other establishments. Honorable mention should be made of the Garden Salad Dressing which was a wonderful combination of herbs with very high quality olive oil. Restaurant is located in the Vanak Park housing complex and there is lots of parking on the street. Their busy time is during lunch so plan ahead.
