Bidra med feedbackThe wood-fired pizzas here are fantastic, and the atmosphere is delightful. They also offer gelato!
The homemade pizza was delicious, and the fresh pasta was exceptional, complemented by excellent service! This bustling little restaurant really deserves its popularity. I regret not being able to try their gelato, as we were too full by the end of our meal. I appreciated the home-cooked flavors, the use of fresh ingredients, and the generous portion sizes; my only suggestion would be to add some bread to the pasta dishes.
I absolutely loved this down-to-earth pizzeria in Te Anau! We were welcomed by a woman who I believe was the owner, and the other staff members were equally friendly. Even though it was a busy dinner service, everyone continued to serve with a smile. We ordered a Hawaiian pizza, which was delicious, with a generous amount of toppings like ham and pineapple. The crust was perfectly balanced—not too thick or doughy. To round off our meal, we tried the chocolate fondant, as suggested by the owner, and it was fantastic! If we hadn’t been so full, we could have easily gone for seconds.
I was truly impressed by the efficiency and professionalism of the staff at this restaurant. Despite it being peak time and bustling with tourists, they quickly seated, served, and took care of everyone. The bruschetta was fantastic—light and garlicky, topped with fresh tomatoes and a delightful salty crunch from the capers. The cute Italian car and scooter parked out front added an authentic touch, especially complemented by an Aperol spritz on a sunny afternoon. The salami pizza was so delicious that we ordered a second one to take back to our hotel to enjoy while watching the sunset over the lake.
Delicious pizzas and quick, friendly service—perfect for families! I really loved watching the pizza chef create the pizzas in the large wood-fired oven!
