We weren't disappointed at the food. But we expected more service. Our waiter was apathetic, and the experience as a whole was mediocre.
It is a great place with great option on menu that are original and all are very tempting the salmon sorrentino, the pigs with plum sauce and the cream brûlée everything was delicious. The decoration and service is also very beautiful
Tierra de Azafranes is by far the best restaurant in Tandil and the region. I had the privilege of eating there last night, and the food, service and attention of the team in Tierra de Azafranes have no equal. I started with a fabulous salmon, raw prepared and cured with herbs, a delicacies with the unique sweetness of the fish perfectly balanced with herbs and a citrus-based sauce, followed by a chicken, mushroom and 'Azafrán' (Saffron) risotto perfectly boiled with the exact balance of strength and hearty mushroom base. To finish dinner, we had fish, on a Roquefort sauce, with crushed potatoes and exceptional spinach in white cream. We accompanied everything with the absolutely best Malbec you can have, Rutini, decanted in the brand 's exclusive glass and served exactly at the perfect temperature (a rarity in Argentina). An impeccable service, the friendly and accommodating team and an atmosphere that balances the enjoyment of some of the most exquisite tastes with the home feeling of a great place to have a relaxed conversation, a laugh and a great time overall. It's been a long time since I had an experience like Tierra de Azafranes, thanks to the whole team that I feel at home.
Great tasty food: Highly recommended, Risotto de atún y espinacas and Risotto al Malbec. Bondiola c batatas y lasagna veggie are a Must! A place to come back anytime you visit Tandil.
