Bidra med feedbackMy sister and I were stranded during an unexpectedly heavy rain ???????? on a Thursday night that we took shelter inside SM City Taytay, and we were soaking wet as in mga basang sisiw kami. We were planning to have some coffee but as it turned out, we became famished. Wet, cold and famished. Good thing Tokyo Tokyo now offers ramen in their menu. I like spicy things plus I needed something not just warm to eat but something "with a kick" also, so I ordered a big bowl of Spicy Chicken Ramen ???? plus red iced tea and three pieces of gyoza, bundled together as a meal for only ₱235. My sister, on the other hand, ordered the Prawn Tempura ???????? bento meal (₱170) and red iced tea (₱45). My Spicy Chicken Ramen was good enough for two persons! The portions of the fried and glazed chicken were big ????-- I did not expect that. But I was hungry so I slurped all the way through and ate all the three (I think) big chicken pieces haha. We shared the gyoza, which is said to make a good partner for the ramen. I may not be a connoisseur or whatever it is so as to be unable to know the taste between an authentic gyoza and the not-so-authentic one, but I liked it. It was crunchy and had somewhat an earthy flavor. Good thing my ramen came in last. I had to do some quick #foodporn pics before enjoying it. It's good to eat the Spicy Chicken Ramen right away while the chicken was still nice and crispy. In hindsight, I could have taken out the chicken first so as to retain its crispiness. I loved the broth too, intensified by the nori soaked in it. The noodles were a bit hard though but the ramen made that up for its crispy, sweet-spicy chicken. My sister's tempura meal came with an unli rice. No, I couldn't eat prawns though. Tokyo Tokyo is still consistent with their iced tea, still delicious. They never fail in that. ???? I wish for more rainy days as to really enjoy a warm comforting bowl of Tokyo Tokyo's ramen (or any other ramen) ???? asecretfanfare.blogspot.com

Unlimited Rice. Fast service. Generous serving. Staff were good, polite and cheerful. Comfort food. Reasonable price. So happy that this chain is clean.
