Brantry Eatery - Taupo

We had a great meal here. the service was good, eating was great! I really enjoyed the duck-brillette sandwich, and our two main (the lamb and the bark fillet) were so good. I ordered my bark fillet rare and really appreciated that it was actually rare! so often they come overcooked. the gnocchi that came with the bark fillet was also a highlight. my only criticism would be that I would have appreciated a steak knife. also they should be able to get the elkbutter with the brot, it was delicious. if I lived in taupo, I would often return. thanks for a wonderful meal.

That was a 10/10 3 course dinner, delicious food and I just loved the service and atmosphere. Ginger cake was the highlight of the night, must try.

I saw a review for a good steak. Went in, not realising it was 3 course meal. 4 if you count the rather exception bread with some sort of delicious infused butter. Tremendous meal. I had the prawns, steak, and sticky date pudding to finish. Absolutely stuffed, but, just delectable meal. Will come back, with friends!

Fine NZ focused dining for a reasonable price on the 3 course set priced menu. Exquisite food flavor and plating. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff putting guests at ease if new to the experience.
