Restaurant & Steakhaus Arena

First time there wasn't a table available, but next night we had a table. Very friendly staff and the diner was excellent. Steaks are top quality and nicely served. Tip: try the grappa!

We were really happy about everything: steak (medium as ordered), salmon flammkuchen and local wine (winery close by approx. 10km). The service was really good, lovely family runned restaurant

Our team had to work late at Boxberg proving ground over a few weeks recently. We didn 't finish til gone 2130 most nights and finding places to eat wasn 't easy. The family and staff at the Arena Steakhouse adopted us and were very flexible and...kind with our 2200-2230 ! late arrivals. They have a long, great and varied menu: the steak is excellent, the pizza is good, the salads are very good and plentiful, and the hot pan more German ? dishes also satisfied three hungry blokes. The beer seemed quite popular too. The slightly late-night atmosphere was more than made up for by the excellent food, clean and cared for facilities and genuinely friendly staff. I 've no doubt we 'll be back next time we 're at Boxberg in a couple of weeks ...tho preferably a little earlier in the evenings!

The food was great. The waitresses speak some English and are eager to assist. Their steaks are great. Their German food was delicious
