Ahlen - Tangier

Had Lamb Tagine from here, was very good. Also, the Moroccan traditional soup had been very good. I came here after Google came the best places to eat in Tangier and that came (together with others).

Delicious food, so fresh and clean. The best choice for the first dinner in the city. We've tried many restaurants in Tangier and in the end we'll get back here. Super friendly staff with good portions and reasonable prices. They give you goat cheese, olives and house made bread as a starter for free. In the end, they give you Moroccan tea and candy also for free. Really recommend!

Great food and very nice staff. I tried the lamb cuscous. It was super fresh and delicious. The staff there offered us Moroccan tea after meal and sweets. Try traditional Moroccan dishes.

I was starting to feel sorry for myself about the quality of restaurants in Tangier, until I came to this one. Great service, so many special little touches; served me a delicious cheese before my meal and asked if they could treat me to a Moroccan tea after my meal, then brought around a basket with a wonderful little pastry. Affordable and in a great location. Highly, highly recommend.

When you are staying or are exploring the old town of Tangier, this is THE restaurant you should visit! We (2 people) had the mixed seafood, sardines and lamb couscous, and, oh my god, was it heavenly. The portions are big, the food is fresh and prepared excellently. Next to that, you get a complementary mint tea and pastry after finishing your meal! And for such a good price. Needless to say, we left a tip and advise everyone to do the same.
