Attitude from the staff behind the counter takes a star off. I’m there at least once a month and it doesn’t cost anything or take additional time to appreciate a customer. It’s impersonal and focused on turning volume rather than quality. They want you to order online, pay online and pick your order up off the to go shelf if you can get through the delivery pickups) vs coming in and troubling the dude behind the counter with your order. Food is top quality freshness and delicious however arrive before noon to be ahead of the rush. Woodys is a long time Tampa favorite made famous by the original owner.

Fantastic soups, salads and sandwiches! Very popular for good reason. There is more seating inside than expected and the service is very good for a place that has to be on point to stay on top of the demand. The soups are especially delicious!

Took a chance and ordered the Major Grey and Spinach Gorgonzola salad from this place in a fit of hunger-tinged madness. It was a good risk, best risk I took since majoring in English in 2008, and the return cured me of my madness, something I cannot say about my degree. The sandwich was good, solid construction, the mango curry aioli is gold, but the star was the salad. Never in my life have I set aside a perfectly good turkey on wheat to devour spinach and almonds and oranges and apples and cheese held together by a simple sesame seed vinaigrette. So good.

The sea wall is under construction but the staff and atmosphere are unparalleled. Enjoy the free parking and a lovely evening evening w your people. Noah is perfectly attentive and very personable

This place is so good. Their creamy Caesar dressing is to die for. Unfortunately, I live in Pennsylvania so I have limited time with woodys. But this is definitely one of the best Caesar salads I’ve ever had in my life.
