Bidra med feedbackI think I should state, their products are good. Expensive, but good. No real issues with the pricing, I know what to expect. What does bother me, and just not here is the ridiculous tipping policy. Why would I tip 20% for a guy who packs my $100 worth of donuts. What did he do, turnaround and box up something. I wish these places would either get rid of the tipping, make it reasonable, $1, $2, $5, etc. Pay them more money, whatever. Maybe I am just old, but it's going to hurt these types of places long term and make employees feel they earn 20% for literally doing their job.
I honestly don’t know how to put into words how amazing HaleLife Bakery is. As someone with severe food allergies, it’s hard to find dining locations with stellar food options. But HaleLife somehow sprinkles pixie dust on every baked good they create, because it tastes absolutely incredible. Easily the best bakery I’ve ever been to! Their cookies, especially the apple pie one, are out of this world!! And to top it all off, they somehow make the absolute best focaccia bread! (And that’s saying something; my girlfriend is Italian! Haha) I can’t wait to continue discovering new vegan goodies at this spectacular bakery!
I visited HaleLife Bakery and tried their gluten-free ganache cupcake which was moist and delicious. However, the server was not very friendly.
My husband and I, both vegans, were highly impressed by this 100% vegan/allergy-friendly bakery. They offer a variety of breads, cupcakes, cookies, donuts, and made-to-order hot food. We thoroughly enjoyed everything we tried so far. The interior is clean and welcoming, and the staff is very helpful and willing to answer any questions. While the prices may be a bit higher than a standard bakery, it is justified by the high quality and cost of ingredients. Currently, I am indulging in some hot oven-baked bread dipped in olive oil, nutritional yeast, rosemary, thyme, and a pinch of sea salt. Delicious!
I love that this is a vegan and gluten free bakery, but it’s very pricey for the mediocre products. Maybe that’s because of the area that it is in, but we got a half dozen of donuts, two breakfast sandwiches and a couple of frozen cheesy bread roll packages (which had very little cheese and hardly any flavor), and that cost a little over $80. The donuts were pretty good, more like a cake though.
