Great BBQ!! The brisket is as tender as slicing through hot butter. Awesome food and an awesome place!!

Whether you're in the neighborhood or not, be sure to visit this restaurant. They were kind enough to give us samples of their brisket, turkey, and chicken, all of which were delicious. We ordered the ribs, brisket, and pulled pork, and everything was fantastic. The ribs, in particular, were some of the best I've ever had.

The family and I decided to take a small road trip fo Tallassee after hearing about Mae Pops BBQ. We had an incredible experience. The food was fresh and they offered to let us try their different meats, each of them were spectacular. my wife got the BBQ loaded Mac and cheese and I got the brisket sandwich. The owner was also kind enough to let me see his smokers and glean some advice for my own at home smoking. This BBQ is worth the drive and the service cannot be beat!

Completely phenomenal customer service, I love the pulled pork sandwich, banana pudding, and homemade beef sausage! ?They are a very respectable business, highly suggest!

The food is so incredible we literally drive nearly an hour to go treat ourselves with the brisket sandwich. You cant go wrong with the M&M sauce and go ahead and get some stew and banana pudding. No need to thank me.
