Bidra med feedbackI dined here based on a friend's recommendation. This small restaurant is nestled in the Market Market grounds, overshadowed by bigger, more popular eateries and grills. I didn't have high expectations, but I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious the food was. We opted for rice meals with Chicken Yakitori and Binagoongang Bagnet. The portions were generous and the prices were very reasonable. I left feeling very satisfied with my dining experience.
Although they serve beer, this restaurant is a great option for family gatherings. In the provinces, it's common for "Tito Boy" to join in on birthday parties with cousins and uncles, so the atmosphere is perfect for that. The restaurant's interior is a mix of fast food and bar, which may be a bit confusing. However, the food is delicious! My wife and I ordered the Nilagang Bulalo and Tuyo Fried Rice, which initially seemed pricey but the generous portions made it worth it. We ended up taking some home for another meal. The Bulalo had a tasty soup and veggies, although the potatoes seemed to have been boiled in a different broth. The fried rice had raisins, which I wasn't too sure about, and some of them tasted slightly burnt. My advice for dining here is to come with a group of friends or family, as the servings are large.
The food at this restaurant is reasonably priced and comes in generous portions. My husband enjoys the Pinakbet rice, although I wish there were more vegetables in it. The chicken was decent, as both our 7-year old and 4-year old finished their meals without complaints. The Sisig was exceptional, with a perfect crunch that made every bite worth it. The service was friendly and quick, and the restaurant wasn't too crowded compared to others in the area. However, there were some people there primarily to drink, which made me a bit uncomfortable dining with my kids. Overall, a great dining experience with delicious food at a good price point.
Went back last thursday for dinner, although the size of the restaurant was a bit smaller the food was as great as before, specially their bulalo its worth every cent you pay so heart warming and their pinakbet is something you can die for plenty veggies and the protein was superb. their pandan ice-tea was terrific I had 6 glasses. what else can be said? price-wise nothing to crow about you get what you pay for. Great service, friendly and accomodating.
I had planned to try out this restaurant for quite sometime and tonight we went their to try our their "Nilagang Bulalo" and pinakbet with inihaw and chicharon. The broth of the bulalo was great value for your money, except the veggies were a bit undercook and we got the short end of the bone end up with little "bulalo". But the meat was great they were falling of the bones. The pinakbet was good no bitter after taste on their ampalaya. Their pandan Ice tea was great I had about 5 glasses, although we didn't order any cocktails, I like the new twist they bring including some the names they use. Price-wise it could have been lower but Iam happy with what they are charging, I would say its market-price. On our next opportunity for a drinking session I would be recommending this place.
