Sandra managed everything – from the catering and rentals to bartenders and even the DJ. This was a huge relief for us, as we initially thought, "We don't need a wedding planner..." How wrong we were! Planning an event for over 150 people is much more challenging than one might think, especially with constantly changing social guidelines. Like most couples on their wedding day, we barely had a moment to enjoy our cake because everything moved so quickly. However, we were pleasantly surprised to find takeout boxes filled with both food and desserts left for us, which we hadn't anticipated! Our guests were thrilled with the menu; we received no complaints whatsoever. It's been months, and people are still raving about the BBQ spread we had! To top it off, they surprised me with a "groom's favorites table" that had all my favorite snacks. I have no idea who they got that information from, but it was a delightful surprise! We will definitely return to The Vault for our next event. As Sandra mentioned, they offer services beyond just weddings. A huge thank you to everyone at The Vault for making our special day possible!
We recently had The Vault handle the catering for our wedding, and I can't say enough good things about it! The food was outstanding, and I was pleasantly surprised by how many guests asked where the catering was from. I highly recommend The Vault for any event!
I had a fantastic experience with The Vault. They provided catering for lunch for 24 people over two days, featuring Huli Huli chicken, Beef Bulgogi, chicken tortellini, and Kahlua Pork. Everything was exceptional. Lunch was delivered on time, piping hot, and fresh both days. They set everything up with plates, napkins, silverware, and serving utensils, and even brought chafing dishes with sterno to keep the food warm! The dessert cookies were delicious as well. The drivers were helpful and courteous, and Sandra was incredibly responsive to my inquiries about allergies and last-minute changes to the event schedule.
Seeking clarification, I called her, but her responses were vague. She indicated that the bar services and upgrades would not suffice to meet the minimum. I had to directly ask her if that meant she couldn’t cater our wedding because we weren't meeting her minimum, which I was willing to pay—there was no request for discounts on my part. Shockingly, she suggested that if I wanted to save money, I should look elsewhere, as if my financial situation was any of her concern. I was taken aback by her refusal and thought perhaps I could try reaching her again later. Fast forward to my fiancé's interaction with her on June 30, 2022. He called, and when he mentioned our wedding would be in Enumclaw (which I had already disclosed in my initial email), she claimed that area was outside her service range and suggested he check back in a few months to see if that changed. This seemed dishonest since she has posted about catering events in similar locations on her Instagram. Since my fiancé didn’t provide his name, I assumed she wouldn't know he was my fiancé, so I decided to reach out again. I sent a polite email on June 30, praising her work and expressing my willingness to meet the minimum and schedule a tasting. However, I received a response on July 1 stating that they were apparently booked on our wedding date, just within the last 24 hours. Given her tendency to turn away business, I find this claim hard to believe. I’m baffled at how we could have offended her since our interactions had been brief. Based on the other negative reviews about this place and my experience with Sandra, it's clear she lacks communication skills and has no notion of proper customer service. I’m relieved to take my business elsewhere. Best of luck to you, Sandra.
