Mr Tipply's - Sydney

I visited this restaurant for lunch to watch a live NBA basketball game while enjoying a meal. I ordered the Pork Belly Burger and was pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was. The burger exceeded my expectations and was also reasonably priced. The bun was soft and fresh, and the burger was generously sized. I loved it so much that I even finished every last chip on my plate. I highly recommend this place for a work lunch or to watch live sports.

I recently went to Tipply's for a foodie event, and it was my first time trying out this restaurant. Known for their burgers, I decided to try the Gentlemen Tipply’s Grilled Beef Pattie with Truffled Macaroni Cheese, Streaky Bacon, Cheddar Cheese, Lettuce, Onion Rings, and Truffle Mayo, along with a side of Spicy Wings. The burger was juicy and delicious, but I found the wings to be a bit dry. The burger cost $16, while the wings and fries cost $6.

I recently visited Mr Tipply's as part of a group event and was impressed by the variety of burgers on offer. The "Gentleman Tipply's" burger stood out to me with its generous portion of onion rings, bacon, and Mac n cheese - perfect for big appetites. For those who prefer a more classic burger, the bacon burger is a solid choice. Just be careful of the toppings slipping out and use the skewer provided. The wings made for a tasty alternative to chips or salad as a side with a bit of a spicy kick.

On the corner of Kent Street, in the middle of the city, Mr.Tipply’s white neon sign shines bright. The illusive mascot, a gentlemen of the highest order, is the main character in an entirely fictional tale behind the restaurant-bar. You get the impression that they are going for a mysterious and stylish, Great Gatsby-esque narrative.

Smashed my expectations what a winner!. The old City Hotel has been refurbished to impress. This bar has undergone an amazing makeover and the menu absolutely blew me away. I wasn't expecting such delicious, authentic food. Working close by, I now frequently head down to Tipply's for the daily lunch special which never disappoints. The food is fresh, fast and delicious. They have a really good wine and drinks menu and the staff are always friendly and polite. My new favourite local haunt!
