Bidra med feedbackI don't typically think of myself as someone who enjoys hidden gem restaurants, but I'm starting to appreciate them more. The Grasshopper is located in a quaint alleyway.
I believe it was our bartender's first day on the job as she checked the ingredient/direction list 10 times before making our drinks. It was a bit surprising to see her working alone in a nearly empty bar.
The restaurant offers delicious food, excellent service, and a fantastic atmosphere. They could be more generous with bread, so don't hesitate to request extra. We had a wonderful meal upstairs and the downstairs bar also looks inviting.
Recently attended a work dinner here. Firstly, we found the service great from the staff considering the size of the table. The food flavour was fine. I ordered the duck pancakes which came as a set of 3 they were not bad but not the best. The fried chicken bucket was a decent size in terms of value for money and the flavour was ok but the sauce I was not he biggest fan of it was a sweet chilli chicken flavour I felt I could have made at home. The cocktails were pretty good. Ambience of the restaurant lacking. Bar ambiance awesome. Overall, I wouldn't mind going back to try this place again but out group thought it was a little pricey for what you get.
I've been to the Grasshopper with a group of friends, the place is inspired to the 80', very cozy and cool. Upstairs there's the restaurant, more brightened, but you are free to have your dinner up or downstairs...we've decided to eat downstairs, more dark and closer to the bar!!The food was really nice, the vegetarian sliders were delicius and the dumplings too. Cocktails were well prepared, made with unusual spices and presented nicely.Staff is very friendly and ready to help with good advices! The prices were on the avarage.I'll come back for sure...I want to try the rest of the cocktail menu!!
