Sonic Drive-in - Sweetwater

My eight-year-old grandchildren could probably do as well as the staff when it comes to sound. The work ethic was definitely lacking. I placed a simple order for a large butterfly treat, but instead of the expected toppings, I received just a vanilla ice cream with a Butterfinger in it. Disappointing!

I had to return to the restaurant because they didn't provide a burger for SuperSonic twice and mistakenly gave me a medium instead of a large order. Unfortunately, they messed up my order again, substituting Cheddar Poppers for Chili Cheese Tater Tots. The food was enjoyable, but with the constant turnover of employees, don't expect to see anyone older than teenagers working there.

The morning staff here are absolutely amazing! I usually arrive just as they open, and they're always willing to prepare my dinner, even if it’s not mealtime yet. They do seem to have a bit of trouble hearing me when I order 2 or 3 through the intercom—though I can’t really blame them for the outdated microphones. Overall, though, they always manage to keep the vibe positive!

The drive-thru speaker needs to be repaired. It's difficult to hear anything clearly, which leads to missed orders!

I arrived at the drive-thru but was met with silence at the speaker, forcing me to go to the window to place my order. I heard a staff member instructing others to put on their headsets, which explained the lack of communication. Frustratingly, four cars that arrived after me received their food before I did. Waiting over 15 minutes for just two items felt excessive. Miraculously, my order was correct this time, which is usually not the case. The only bright spot was the woman at the window, who was doing her best to manage the situation. However, it’s evident that management needs to tackle these issues. After reading other reviews, it appears this is a common problem. I strongly suggest considering another restaurant if you're in search of better and quicker service.
