Citronen - Svendborg

We searched for a meal dinner. We entered the Lemon and were greeted by a sweet and rar serves. We chose their menu and got a super meal food. Especially the main right which was today's catch cod. It was super prepared the whole menu was a good experience lots of stars from here and thank you for a fresh and good service.

Cosy atmosphere in the restaurant, however the staff forgot cutlery but were apologetic when asked. Main dishes were ok, but not overwhelming, desserts were average.

This was a welcome contrast to the 2 nights of wonderful fine dining we had enjoyed in Svendborg. A big honest tasty lean burger and a nice bottle of red wine from an 'easy-to-conquer ' wine list. very pleasant service and a great relaxed atmosphere. The restaurant enjoys a great location in one of Svendborg 's prettiest central streets, the lighting is atmospheric, there is art for sale on the walls. Charming. Worth a visit.

We checked in at our hotel and off we went to discover Svendborg. We hadn 't gone far before we peeked down a little alley and spotted a bustling café terrace. This was Citronen. In minutes we had joined a host of other happy eaters. I had a 'pariserbøf ' a kind of traditional Danish burger with trimmings and my partner had a slice of toast heaped with fresh prawns, washed down by local elderflower enhanced beer. Lovely. Great service too.

Cozy and stylish, very open and beautiful. in the background there was a moderate and a pleasant music. the waiter (and cook) were helpful, friendly and friendly and we shared a nice conversation with the owner. Eat: absolutely delicious and satisfying during stay at affordable price level. I recommend that you sit outside in an inn.
