Damiko Sushi - Surrey

Beautiful ambiente, really delicious sushi and large portions. will go back for more and I wish I lived closer.

Eating is good in this restaurant, it is also just a few minutes walk from our new home and we hope this is our go-to for sushi. unfortunately we had to pass each time odorous overflowing filling containers and also müll over the path. as an entrepreneur myself I could not imagine that I did not try to keep the outer and the entry to my business clean. especially for a food business. only from this reason, unfortunately we no longer get our sushi from daniko.

Very impressed by this very rustic sushi restaurant. really an authentic feeling in this restaurant. tried the dynamite and unagi roll and both were excellent! the free tee was also very good. the service was above and beyond. I've got my lunch faster than almost food. highly recommended!

Damiko sushi has fantastic customer service and they let us always use our own container for delivery, which is amazing! you eat is absolutely delicious and always fresh! it is hard to find a really amazing vegan meal (or even) in surrey, so it is...nice to have damiko close. our favorite sushi spot safe!

This restaurant went onto my Try' list because it's so chic looking from outside. Finally went last night. Not so chic inside. It was outside at p.m. and only about inside the restaurant. Which was full, but everyone kept their jackets on!...Music playing throughout was clubby dance pop. Yuk. Food was okay, we shared a roll that sounded a little better than it was. The presentation was beautiful to look at but it lots of layers of sweet squirted-on sauces and the essence of what the roll was essentially about was kind of lost. We followed that with a tasty chicken/rice thing. The menu's fairly extensive. I presume beer and wine are served but we didn't see either on the menu and as I looked around the room not one other table had alcohol. Bottom line, the ambience was a deal killer and the food wasn't good enough to put up with frigid temps and dance music. Won't return.
