Boston Pizza - Surrey

I eat here a few times a year and it is a very well operation. We had great service from the hostess and waitress today. The food was delivered very fast and the salad was great. The soup not so.

My husband and I have eaten the gluten free baked wings for years. They are very expensive but they *were* the biggest wings you could buy anywhere. Not anymore. The price stayed the same but the wings are half the size. It wasn't a one-off, it's now standard. A total rip off. However, still delicious and great service. The gluten warning is about the pizza. I have gotten a terrible reaction every time I had it so I won't touch it again. Perhaps they aren't aware it isn't just the crust that needs to be gluten free. The tomato sauce likely has gluten in it and I suspect that is why the gluten free pizza still makes me sick. Just be careful.

This place has the best pizza in the lower mainland and the service is fast and friendly My personal favorite is a lean beef and onion piece that always lacks one piece or two when I get it home. The price is higher than... a lot of other pizza places, but the quality is much better.

We ordered for pick up for the family. When I called I was pleasantly greeted, and asked for my name. I gave it (and spelled it) and then I was put on hold. Okay, so maybe they were busy. I almost hung up when she came...back and asked for my order. I gave it and she read it back and said it would be ready in 30 minutes. Great. I asked for the total, and was put on hold again. This time for almost five minutes! She came back with the total. I drove to the restaurant and gave my name for pickup. Nothing under my name. He went through the orders and found mine (spelled wrong), rung it through and went to the back. He came back with a pizza and other items I didn't order a pizza. He went back and after a long while came back with my order. I got home and it was mine without the dipping sauce for the cactus cut potatoes! IT WASN'T THAT HARD PEOPLE!

The atmosphere is good, food is average but tasty, service is friendly and prices are reasonable. Sometimes some of the items came out a bit cool instead of piping hot but overall it is not a bad experience.
