Louie K Subs - Sunrise

Impressed. First, the sandwich I got (Cuban) was delicious. All the ingredients are fresh and I watched Lou cut the meats and cheese to my order. Second, I’ve been in a lot of delis and sandwich shops and this place is the CLEANEST I’ve ever been to. Lastly, Lou was friendly, clearly knows how to make a sandwich, and really takes pride in what he does. I’ll be happy to support this local business again.

I found Louie K Subs by googling tuna melt.The tuna melt was everything thing my tummy craved!Let’s start by saying this place had been near my job for 23 years! I am shocked at my self not not trying them sooner.I got the tuna melt on garlic bread. The bread was fresh and fluffy and the garlic flavor was there to add depth but not to ruin the sandwich! I liked and appreciated that.The restaurant is take out only, so I recommend ordering online or knowing the menu before you get there if not you’ll have to use the paper order form which was slightly overwhelming and I made a mistake or two…? luckily I figured everything out in under a few mins and my order for the delicious tuna melt was made by the man himself!Service was great, Louie answered all my questions and was very professional.The shop has a nice decor, welcoming purple theme and was very clean.There is no restroom as it is take out only so be mindful if you get the sudden urge to go.The menu had other items I want to try so I’ll be back. Next time, when the urge for tuna melt strikes, I know where to go.

I've been going to Louie's for 18 years. He makes awesome sandwiches and plays awesome music. I love the cleanliness, our fun chats and his attention to detail. Louie has perfected his craft and he is my #1 go to guy for deli sandwiches. Try him, you'll be glad you did!

This place rocks! I had the kitchen sink which was so good that I came back the next day with my coworkers. The Italian was also excellent. This place doesn't skimp on the meat at all. The prices are very reasonable and you get way more meat than at cheaper sub places. It's a one-man operation, but the wait is worth

This is a one man operation and the owner is great. If you ever read a review on here saying he is not friendly, you need to keep in mind that he is running it by himself. He doesn’t have time to coddle your ego. And by the way, I found him to be endearing. He runs his business the way he needs to by having you fill out a sheet and then he freshly slices all the meat. Expect to wait as he can only do so much.Now, onto the review. The sandwiches are huge, taste fantastic and he uses quality ingredients. We ate our two subs for days. It tasted even better the next day. Highly recommend getting the kitchen sink and the Italian. We can’t wait to come back and try all the other options you have. This has become our new sandwich spot and will come back often.
