Oya Japanese Restaurant - SUN PEAKS

We had lunch at Oya and it was good. Many sushi and noodles options. Service was pretty quick, but the restaurant was not very busy for lunch. A little on the pricey side.

We ordered all sushi and were thoroughly satisfied. Portions were more than plentiful for the 4 of us to share. The chef specials were tasty! Loved the tempura yam!

This is an authentic Japanese restaurant that is a short walk from the exit point of the main lifts to the village. the owner is friendly and the service is fast. so they can ski again! the whole food was well presented and. the food is of high quality and fresh to no alcohol.

I ordered take-out at this restaurant. I waited at the bar and the owner promptly asked for my order. However, after being seated, I waited for my meal for a while without even being offered water. The staff seemed more focused on fulfilling take-out orders rather than attending to me. There were only two sushi chefs working. I ordered a spicy seafood noodle dish, but it lacked flavor. I decided not to complain and paid in cash without leaving a tip.

This little restaurant has massive charm. the quality of eating is excellent and the staff is friendly and dedicated. we never let ourselves feel disappointed. this is a safe firefighter restaurant
