Bidra med feedbackI took a friend to a medical office nearby and had some time to spare, so I decided to visit JJ's Bistro. The owners were both very friendly and attentive during my visit. The food is all made fresh to order, so it may take a bit longer to receive your meal, but it is definitely worth the wait. I tried the number three combo which included shrimp tempura, fried rice, and wonton soup, all of which were delicious. Although I don't live in the area, I believe the drive is worth it to come back again. I highly recommend giving this place a try as it has a cozy atmosphere and delicious food.
He assumed we wanted to sit and have a drink, but that wasn't the case - we simply wanted to buy a drink and leave. He then pointed out a sign stating a $10 minimum purchase requirement, stating that they get very busy there. At this point, his demeanor had upset me, so we decided not to buy anything and left. Customer service is important to me, and while I didn't mind not being seated (I understand their policy), I do mind being spoken to in a condescending manner. The owner responded to my comment, stating that loitering or waiting at the tables is not allowed. As I mentioned in my original review, I understood this policy. What I didn't appreciate was the rude attitude towards a paying customer. I would have gladly spent the $10 minimum on drinks and snacks and taken them outside to wait. Instead, I was treated rudely and left. I ended up buying drinks and snacks from a nearby store and waited on the lawn outside the building. This is what I would have done if I had been treated differently.
