Bidra med feedbackReally disappointed about the bad service we received. We had ordered a gin and tonic, it took about half an hour before it was served. When we tasted, it was clear gin and soda water. We asked our server and she said she would check with the bar staff and be sure enough that we were told that they ran out of tonic water and they thought it would be acceptable to replace it with soda water. I'd like to ask instead of guessing. We fortunately sent it back for free and instead asked for a beer. We were there at least 50 minutes before we got a drink and it was served with our starter. The fork we supplied had really bent tines and asked if we could replace them. Fortunately, one of the appetizers we didn't need was a fork and we could at least eat it while it was still hot. We asked the server three times for one and it was when we made a bit of a sarcastic comment before she brought to us that was when the main course came. The food was excellent as always, but the server needs a lesson in good customer service. I could expect delays when a place is busy, but it was very quiet and no excuse for the bad service. The worst is that they expect a tip that you feel obliged to give. Perhaps North America should rethink its typing practice and deal with it especially when the service is inadequate.
Good Friday meal... we expected a wait... online booked... we are bigger guys and they put us in a booth... we couldn't breathe... Hostesses should pay more attention when tables...
Next time I want a really good seafood meal... I take the $200 and go to a seafood shop. spend all my money and go home and cook. the lobster was very overcooked.
We had a meal on Good Friday and anticipated a wait, so we made an online reservation. However, we were seated at a smaller table despite our larger group size, which made it uncomfortable as we could barely breathe. The hostesses should be more attentive when seating guests and managing table assignments.
Next time, I’ll aim for a truly excellent seafood meal. I’d rather spend my $200 at a fish market, buy some fresh ingredients, and cook them myself at home. The lobster I had was severely overcooked.
