Fionn MacCool's Irish Pub - Sudbury

We used to enjoy dining at Fionn MacCool's before COVID-19. The portion sizes were fair at first, but recently we ordered the steak and Guinness bowl and were extremely disappointed. The bowl no longer came with a Yorkshire pudding as before; instead, we were given two small Yorkshire pudding muffins and a small salad with half the usual size and dressing. Despite the price remaining the same, we found the portion and quality to be lacking. We will be dining elsewhere next time.

I went to this restaurant with a friend and we both ordered a basic salad and fish and chips. A Guinness beer costs $8.74 and a coffee is $3.49. The Cobb salad was $17.95 and the fish was $15.50. With the HST added, it ended up being a very expensive lunch costing a total of $55.56. The atmosphere was nice and the staff was friendly, but the overall experience fell a bit short. Despite being one of my favorite restaurants in the past, I will be trying a different place next time.

Large Irish pub. the atmosphere is very Irish, all waiters wear wedges. she reminded us of our trip to earth last year. there are many pictures of earth on the walls and many Guinness thing. the service was great. that was eating...big we had guinness steak and mushroom bowl and fish and chips. I like the bowl myself. it was so delicious. this place really recommend.

We had to visit Sudbury twice last month and both times we dined at this restaurant. The first visit was on the first day of stage 3 of Covid restrictions and they were well prepared. The second visit was about a month later and the staff was still very attentive. The staff were well managed, friendly, and helpful (we have vegans in our family) and they answered all our questions about nutritional needs.

My wife is a vegan so finding good places to eat that appeals to both of us is difficult. Finn mccools nails it. I had the fish and chips and my wife had the vegan fish and chips. We were very impressed and Finns is...our new favourite. Everything about the place including the service is top notch. I even tried a piece of her vegan fish and wouldn’t hesitate ordering it for myself. Do yourself a favour and give Finns a go I believe you’ll be impressed also
