Bidra med feedbackWe went with our customers for lunch. We enjoyed the food and I was surprised by the variety of Asian, local and international dishes. I ordered green curry with seafood and fish mix. I enjoy it.
Good service, variety and quality, but a bit expensive for the type of location and attitude. Would not describe it as fine food, but the price tag was definitely a fine dining room price-day!
One tends to favor places nearby, as the “Grass is always greener on the other side”. Not so when it comes to the Oyster Bar, and more so keep in mind Bogotas long distance from sea water, and the restaurant the low key-out-of-the-way location. Our dear friends Nancy Francisco Javier celebrated her engagement here about 15 years ago when the restaurant, the creation of chef Jair Melo sons, first opened his doors. This is our fourth visit just as good as the first one about 3 years ago. Oyster naturally (9 varieties on the menu – depending on market seasonal availability), grilled octopus, filled giant crab legs, garlic shrimps, steamed shells, lots of fresh fish as well. All professionally prepared presented. The inexpensive Spanish spice traminor complemented our meal perfectly; and the house Apple Strudel, Tiramisu, Espressos polished it beautifully! Thank you. Jair Team, thank you Milena. On the way go next to the door to their Pescaderia (Fischermarkt) and take all kinds of goodies for the game home!
It will always be a drop to visit this place. the food is fresh varied within the delights of the sea well presented served and delicious. a wide and garliced wine menu for different drops and budgets. the price and a great kindness in the service. to come back and repeat without a doubt.
If you drop of seafood and want to go to a place where you know them and serve them exquisitely, this is an obligatory place. it's not cheap, but the quality/price ratio is very good. You're getting what you're paying and the quality of attention, service and food is worth what you're getting. excellent attention, great availability of staff. Even if you are not an oyster connoisseur, you can count that with the advice and guides you get, you will go untied and with a great gastronomic experience. I'd come back over and over again.
