Lola's Seafood Eatery - Stuart

I’m not quite sure how this place is still in business. They used to be a really good when they were at the other location. When they moved, I never really cleaned up the new place. It’s pretty dirty inside. We went a few weeks ago. It was around 8 o’clock when we got there. The lady was very rude that they closed at 8:30 and I asked if we could still sit and eat and she said yes, but was very nasty. We had our toddler with us so I didn’t feel like trying to find another place to eat and I loved Lola‘s food so I figured we would just stay here, no matter how nasty she was being, I ordered the scallops which I’ve had in the past and they’ve always been good. They definitely have change something with their batter and it was not fresh. In fact, I had an ammonia taste to it, and I had to send them back. While the lady had just close the drawer and basically told me, I couldn’t get my money back, but they would make something else for me which was fine. I ordered the fish and chips and that was definitely still not as fresh but much better than the scallops. all in all it was a terrible experience. The food clearly is not fresh. They don’t care about service and it’s not clean. Will never come back.

Their special was the Tropical Seafood Bowl and it was delicious. The nice thing is they will fix it for you whether it 's on the special board or not. The fish and shrimp platter was also very good.

My friend and I ordered the scallop salad. It just wasn't good. I was in town visiting and I couldn't wait to get back to Lola's. It has really gone downhill since the last time I was here. I was very disappointed and it wasn't worth the money.

When we go RV'ing we look for nearby things to do restaurants and found Lola's Seafood! They are dog friendly and brought Coco a bowl of ice water. We ordered the Shrimp Basket and Shrimp Fish Combo, both with fries. The food was FANTASTIC! Hot, fresh, and came with Cole Slaw and condiments. The woman that runs the shop was pleasant, funny does it all! Very nice experience, we will be back when in the area again! Oh! We purchased dessert to go, a BROWNIE! This was the biggest, fudgiest brownie we ever had, and worth the price!

Tried the website but it said it's unsafe. Drove by to pick up a menu and the grumpy old lady hands me a menu flyer without prices? How do you do business like that? Did actually have lunch finally, spending over $50 for 2. Sat outside, had to clean the dirty table top. Just not up to par anymore.
