The Painswick - Stroud

I think honestly, this is probably my favorite hotel all the time. Unfortunately we could only stay for one night, but my wife and I loved it absolutely. the hotel was recently renovated and it was made beautiful. the interior architect has really nailed a mood that is recommended for a young liondon crowd, but in such a stylish, very warm, relaxing and welcoming way done that it does not alienate the rest of the world. amazing love to detail everywhere you see. I have never seen the personal so enthusiastic about their work environment. they love the new look of the hotel and were incredibly happy and helpful. we ate dinner and breakfast in the beautiful dining room (love the ground but not painted heringbon wooden floor and striped wooden doors and window frames that are left as raw wood! and eating was excellent. we'd be back in a heartbeat if we could. in the did, at a point during our stay, we thought how many nights we could spend in the painswick when we sell our house! no other hotel in the world has inspired me to find out.

Great place, worth a stay when in the opposite. eating, the personal, the rooms and the general ambiente are really worth experiencing. they will not be disappointed!

We made a very last minute booking. what a really wonderful evening. the personal is amazing. the building and the interieur is beautiful. great menu. a lot of choice. excellent selection of wine/champagne. over 2 hours eating delicious food in a wonderful environment. on the cocktail bar for follow. would recommend everyone. thanks for making our 4-year anniversary so special.

We're getting married here in December and we can't wait we've already stayed and lunched here staff are beyond fab rooms divine and food incredible painswick itself is so gorgeous a must must visit and stay ; and get in quick the painswick is a hot must in most magazines as a place to go right now ! X thanks guys

Afternoon tea was brilliant really nice selection of savoury and sweet, high quality coffee (the best mocha I’ve ever had! , beautiful garden terrace, friendly and professional staff. Would absolutely come here again the cocktails we saw looked worth a return visit alone!
