Pilot Travel Center - Stratford

The location has very little grass and almost no shade for our 4 legged traveler, even in June. The subway employee made this a regretted stop, and put us way behind schedule. It took more than 30 minutes to get 2 sandwiches and a protein bowl. The orderwas accurate, but she just didn't move quickly, talked too much between handfuls of veggies, and even when we said we didn'tneed a bag (to save time), counted out napkins, asked if that was enough, and bagged the sandwich, again very slowly. Restroomswere clean and available. Pizza hut option was closed. Hot food was available at the deli, but taste was bland.

Pretty good food selection, a little bit on the small side for parking, I did not try the showers here, CAT Scale and Subway @truckingpix

Avoid buying gas here if you're a regular driver. They place a $150 hold on your account when you pay at the pump, even though filling my tank only costs $30. It’s best to steer clear of this place.

A good spot that offers all the basic amenities of a truck stop.

I'm not sure about the other nights of the week, but from Sunday to Monday morning, there was an annoying train passing through at night, honking its air horn. It definitely made the night less enjoyable during my stay. Aside from that, I have no complaints about the Pilot itself!
