Simi's India Cuisine

I went here for a solo lunch. I have been wanting to try local san antonio spots that offer different options. This spot really impressed me. My favorite item was the minced lamb meatballs and the chicken curry’s. The owners are super friendly and greet you immediately. 1 minute into walking in i was already serving my plate and getting ready to eat. The owner is constantly checking on you and taking plates, making refills, and serving everyone with warm Naan bread. If you’ve thought about coming here just make the trip it’s worth it. ?

The buffet was amazing ? and it had a variety that was well combined to have a delicious meal....go for seconds!

This place is so good, hospitality is amazing. Been coming here for years, would definitely recommend to go during lunch to try the buffet. Very very good food from Simis.

I've had the lunch buffet on several occasions. It's pretty good and affordable. They also have a good selection of vegetarian entrees.

I recently visited Simi’s Restaurant for their weekend buffet and had an extremely disappointing experience. Despite being the only customers there, the buffet was subpar at best. The food lacked the authentic Indian flavor and tasted bland. The most alarming part was witnessing an employee put his hand directly into one of the curry trays without noticing I was watching. This level of unhygienic practice is unacceptable in any dining establishment. To add to the disappointment, another server brought us chai, claiming it was included in the buffet, only to charge us for it later. The chicken kebab was so dry that it could be compared to the Sahara Desert. I had gone to Simi’s after seeing all the good reviews online, but it’s clear now that those reviews are fake. Overall, I would rate my experience at Simi’s Restaurant a -10000/10. Be warned: don’t trust the glowing reviews online—they’re completely misleading.
