Bidra med feedbackThis restaurant is a hidden gem - the staff are so friendly and welcoming, and the scones and coffee were delicious. I highly recommend stopping by. They offer a variety of other dishes that all looked amazing, and I will definitely be returning to try them out.
Very Disappointing visit as food was off with mold so had to leave and poor customer service. Dog was eating off the table drinking from a cup. Very disgusting
We decided to support a local business that we had visited a few times before COVID. We ordered two cheese and ham toasties, but were disappointed to find that the cheese was poor quality and the coleslaw was not up to par. The teas were satisfactory, and the carrot cake was delicious. However, we were surprised to be charged £2 for two slices of toast as they did not have any white bread. Overall, we were left feeling very disappointed with our experience.
Upon arrival we were not greeted so we did not know if we had to wait to be seated or just choose a seat. After asking we were told to choose a seat and come to the bar to order. There was only one menu which was on the chalk board above the till so it was hard to see the menu from where we were sat. We paid £4 per hot drink and when they came they were all cold. We complained and got new drinks which were slightly hotter but still not quite to standard. We ordered 3 meals and 1 arrived after 15 minutes after ordering. I thought I’d wait for everyone else’s food to arrive but after 5 minutes there was no sign of anyone else’s food. I then decided to eat mine as it was getting cold. I got a breakfast sandwich which had sausage, egg and cheese in it. I paid £2 extra for added bacon. When I received my sandwich there was only 1 fatty piece of bacon which I didn’t think was worth the £2 I paid. After I had finished my food the woman cleared my plate then brought out another plate of food for someone else. Another 5 minutes later the final plate of food arrived so I was sat watching 2 other people eating which I would’ve preferred all the food to come together. I won’t be coming back as I don’t think it was worth the £40 I paid for it.
Lovely cafe. Delicious bacon sandwich and latte. So nice to find somewhere where dogs are made so welcome.
