Deedar Tandoori Takeaway - Stockport

This is by far the best curry house in stockport,I have a pal curry every week delicious

For a change we thought we would have a takeaway from this place as it is local to use. The order was Mixed Biryani and a Lamb Makhani. Okay so the food was 15 mins late as it was busy,yes i dont mind that as it was a Saturday evening. I put the food out and noticed that the vegetable sauce was missing from the Biryani,okay no big deal,just one of those things i suppose.i could use some of the sauce from the other dish. The Biryani was shown as having prawns in it,no trace of any prawns,if it says Prawns i expect large Prawns,not teen weeny shrimps!!! The meat was like rubber,and not tasty whatsoever. The Lamb Makhani meat was also like rubber and unpalatable. I rang the place and told them that the sauce was missing,no response whatsoever,i told them that the meat in both dishes was tough,hang on we will ask the Chef to speak to you!!!! Spoke to the Chjef,he had no idea what to say to me. told Him i would be in tomorrow for a partial refund,his reply was. We have no other complaints tonight!!! Disgusting food and disgusting response,a couldn't care less attiude

Friday 26 april 2024 .....super service and the quality and flavour of the curry is the best! I had a chicken madras and chicken bhuna with pilau rice and a very special cucumber and mint raita plus complimentary onion bhajis and onion chutney and poppadoms!! excellent portions left plenty for another meal! thankyou all at Deedar for a great curry !

Went in Ordered 2 kebabs wish I stayed in and seen how these where prepared stayed in car outside went in 10 mins later they where already done ? Thought it was a bit strange no smell of freshly cooked food ? The packaging was cold when got home the food was cold as well nothing was fresh at all ended up throwing the food probably one of the worst chicken lamb tikka kebabs I've bought terrible won't be back to this place again AWFUL !!!!

Best Kebab I've had in 20 years. The Deedar is certainly worth a go. Curries are great also.
