Blackshaws Kitchen - Stockport

So went today for afternoon with friends.Table service was terrible , we had to ask for thing which should of been on the table tea such as napkins , knifes and cream for our scones. The pots of tea we had to ask for on a few occasions and we had nearly finished our food when it was brought . Just the little things like strawberry in the pressecco

We enjoyed a delightful Sunday brunch at Blackshaws. The menu offered a wider selection than what was available online, and I opted for the delicious pancakes. The staff were friendly and accommodating, allowing my partner to customize his order. The drinks were also excellent. My only complaint is that our food arrived before our drinks, leaving us without a beverage for a while. However, considering the small team and busy time of day, it was understandable. The restaurant was clean, bright, and well-spaced, which was pleasant, and the prices were very reasonable. We will definitely return to try more items on the menu, especially the mouth-watering roast.

Came to the Wine Club with Cork Manchester on an evening and had a lovely time. Attentive, knowledgeable staff, great wine selection bargain prices. Would definitely recommend and be back again!

I love it here. Mum and Dad come here for brunch or sometimes coffee and cake. I get lovely sausages which are great. Friendly staff just great

The breakfast offerings at this restaurant are inconsistent. Despite the menu stating "Eggs" plural, they only serve 1 egg with the breakfast, when they used to serve 2. During peak times, the service seems to struggle. The manager, who I assume to be the manager, is not very warm or welcoming, especially towards younger people who look alternative in any way. I often feel unwelcome when I visit with my partner. The quality of the food is good, but it's a shame that it's overshadowed by the other factors.
