Gröne Riddaren Pizza - Stockholm

Horrible experience. I brought my son here and had to throw out pizza. First of all there is a rude worker or manager looks middle eastern and wears glasses who was sitting down watching tv and look bothered when you walked in. There was no greeting and a stare down like go away and stop bothering me. It clearly looks like he hates Anericans. We asked if there was a menu in english and he yells here and throws it at us. I would have walked our at that point and my temper was boiling but my son was starved so I just took the rudeness. When we get our pizza it was horrible not only was it watery but almost had no cheese and toasted weird at that point I bribed my son to go to another place. Stay away from this pizza place they clearly hate Americans and dont care about customer service.

This local pizzeria is, in my opinion, probably the best place around. The quality of the food is far superior to that of the nearby Ciao Ciao Grande restaurant. They offer a wide selection of popular thin-crust pizzas that are well-loved in Sweden. The staff is very friendly, and the atmosphere is cozy, with comfortable seating that accommodates about 30-35 people at most. As expected from a pizzeria, a variety of options are available. The prices are very reasonable, especially considering the upscale neighborhood near Ostermalm in Stockholm. The restaurant doesn't serve alcohol, which makes it a great spot for families to enjoy pizza and kebabs—unlike some other pizzerias that offer beer, which can sometimes attract a rowdier crowd.

My mother, who is 67, didn't want to eat an entire pizza, so we asked for one pizza to share between the two of us. However, the owners charged us an extra 20 kr for this. I will not be returning to this place.

The pizza here is quite good for Sweden, though it doesn't compare to authentic Neapolitan pizza. There’s a wide variety of pizzas available to choose from. The seating is a bit snug, but I usually opt for takeout. The service is excellent, and the staff is very friendly.

Pretty good for a classic Swedish pizza.
