The Ground House - Stirling

I've been here with my mom and the food was good. Even though it was a simple order, I got my food almost 40 minutes after ordering it, so I was quite disappointed this time. I'll probably be back expecting a little bit more from this place :

Not a lot to say other than it is a very nice little place and good service from the staff. Food was lovely and superb mug of tea. Prices reasonable. Would return.

Relaxed wee coffee shop. Can get decent coffee, sandwich and shortbread for a fiver. Staff very friendly. Definitely recommend.

This place is really cool. When you enter the restaurant you feel like being in a traveler's or backpacker's restaurant. I can't really tell why, maybe because of the furniture or the painted walls... I guess it is because of the nice personal, whom it was fun talking to. I asked for recommendations for next steps in our Scotland roadtrip and the next morning when I came back to buy some cake (tasty) and get my answers they introduced be to a nice old gentleman who helped me a lot. The food was really tasty, We had hummus (maybe this is also why I thought of backpackers) and pizza. Unfortunately this place closes at 8 P.M., but we came in time to enjoy the dinner. Try the caramel creme and chocolate tartlet, really to be recommended.
