The Allan Water Cafe - Stirling

During our visit to Scotland from the United States, this restaurant became our favorite dining spot. The prices were affordable and it was conveniently located near the Wallace Monument. I highly recommend trying the fish and chips with a side of tea.

The fish and chips at this restaurant are fantastic! They are the best we have ever had. The service was excellent and the food was as fresh as could be.

Really great full breakfasts. We cycle there for 4 miles to eat it.

The food here is decent for the type of restaurant it is, but the service is lacking. It seems like most of the staff view customers as a nuisance.

Was out for the day in Stirlingshire and had to stop here for some lunch as this place is famed for great chips. Since it was a gloriously sunny day, we got food to take away from The Chippy to sit and eat by the river side. As a vegetarian I just opted for a roll and chips, whilst my compadres had the fish and the steak pie. The food went down really well but be prepared for the huge portions! We went back for ice cream afterwards lots of delicious flavours to choose from and it was also very good. Tasty and well worth a visit!
