Brooklyn's - Stillwater

I made a reservation 30 minutes prior and the host mentioned that I had made a last minute reservation. We were seated at a nice table in a restaurant that is considered nice for Stillwater standards. The menu looked good, but I found that the food did not live up to its descriptions. The Parmesan garlic fries were actually frozen coated fries from a bag, rather than being freshly coated in Parmesan and garlic. When I asked for pickles with my burger, I was initially told they were unavailable, but then they were brought to me a few minutes later with the explanation that the kitchen had found some. As someone who cooks, it seemed like the kitchen may have cut corners and not followed the recipes properly. The ambiance and decor of the restaurant is really beautiful, and its location on Main Street is charming with boutique shops nearby.

We made an excellent choice by going to Brooklyn for brunch. Our server, Cat, was fantastic and all of our orders were correct, even with our large party. We didn't have to wait for anything and had a fantastic time.

This restaurant in Stillwater is one of the top spots to enjoy a cocktail and delicious meal.

Overall, the restaurant was pretty good. Our server had a difficult time as the computers are down and as a result I ordered a salad and did not get it until after the main meal. She apologized, but otherwise she did a great job. The food is good and an overall good value. Thank you.

Brooklyn's had excellent food. The prices were great for the amount received. Good atmosphere although a little loud if you're wanting a nice, quiet dinner.
