Mad Capper Saloon Eatery - Stillwater

So pleasantly surprised by their new menu! Not your typical bar food anymore. FANTASTIC lettuce wraps. Pasta gnocchi with lamb sausage was absolutely to die for!! And as the picture shows: MEATBALLS. Probably the best I have ever had and I have been to Italy more than once. Just go there!!! You will not be disappointed. And if you are lucky enough to get Louisa as your server would be an added bonus!

Had to check this place out after the remodel and I had a very nice time with my girlfriend here. We had a very welcoming bartender Alfredo take care of us for drinks and food. We both had a very tasty signature drink with some small plates to try out. The bar had a nice cozy atmosphere. The food is made fresh and has great presentation. The bar is a nice downtown spot that sits you right in a busy part of main street so you have plenty to look at and people to meet. Overallgreat experience and I will be going back on my next visit to Stillwater.

Stillwater is a fun town, especially after you find a parking space. Mad Capper, can?t emphasize enough how Fresh everything was. I could tell the difference local sourcing made. My girlfriend is in the industry and loved the food here as well as the service. Mad Capper, we will be back.

We arrived at Mad Capper expecting its usual dumpy charm, bar food and excellent beer selection. Was saddened to find that ownership, decor, tap list and menu had all changed. Service was great at 2pm on a Wednesday. I?m not sure we will be back. The old Mad Capper will have to live on in our memories..

Love the old time atmosphere here! the bar looks like she came out of a photo. the staff was very friendly. there was also an extremely talented live piano that was amazing to music! it has really completed the environment. we just ordered apps and drinks that we have the bruschetta and the artichoke dip....SO delicious! I also got the Rhubarbra potion and it was so delicious!
