Emy J's - Stevens Point

Stopped here to do some work while traveling through WI. Wonderful atmosphere, welcoming staff/owner, extremely hospitable and great coffee. I am so grateful to have had this place to take my meeting. Values of the establishment are also fantastic. LGBTQ+ friendly space.

What a funny place! there are two different sides for coffee and one for eating. the foods are all so unique and interesting. the type that leads the kitchen came out to explain each of the options. the staff was very nice and cool. they also see tons of local artworks on the walls they can buy.

Emy J's has several great vegetarian options and the staff are vegan conscious and able to tweak meals to make them vegan.

I have visited this restaurant for the second time and ordered a coffee and a cinnamon roll. Both were hot and tasty, and I was able to enjoy them at an outdoor table. I will definitely be returning soon because the quality was excellent and the prices were much lower than other places. I have come here multiple times now to enjoy a hot mocha latte with a cookie, cinnamon roll, or muffin. The service is fantastic, the coffee is always hot, and sitting at an outdoor table on a beautiful summer morning adds to the overall experience.

The interior of the restaurant is lovely, but I was disappointed that I paid for a 20 oz iced coffee and only received about 16 oz because it was served in a glass instead of a disposable cup. While I appreciate the effort to reduce plastic waste, I would expect to be charged less for the smaller portion. Additionally, they offer Chocolate Shoppe ice cream, which is usually delicious, but everything was melted due to their freezer not being set at the right temperature.
