Bidra med feedbackNice and helpful staff. Perfect for a weekend, cold and hot water tanks on each floor with tea and coffee, refrigerator in the room, very warm bathroom and free parking.
Cosy and quiet place to stay for one night. Clean and big enough for the price. Not very close to the center, but easily accessible. Breakfast is also suitable after the price. Perfect for a couple or friends as the entrance is through a code. It has a lot of stairs, so it can be a problem.
Breakfast was good. The room was very warm and we couldn't open a window. Free parking is available if you are there in time and the city centre is within walking distance.
Cheap accommodation, not badly located since Stavanger is quite small. The reception was only open from 7 am to 1 pm. After that, you must enter a code from the backyard. The room had no A/C, so I had to open the windows at night.
We had booked apartment at Stavanger Lille Hotel. Our apartment proved to be elsewhere in the city. We were, with directions, sent off to another street: Pedersgata 23. This was at a distance of 1.5 km 5 min drive). Therefore, we could not leave the car at the hotel because it was too far to walk twice with all the suitcases. Appartement paid at reception. Left for appartement. We also heard that parking at the hotel was not desirable, because we did not stay at the hotel. Once at the apartment on the Pedersgata, the first impression was reasonable. The neighborhood seems slowly to impoverish and is a stark contrast to other impressions we gained in Norway. Many people hanging on the street. First unload car. Then there were doubts if we could park it in the street. The reception has told us nothing about but we saw traffic signs. We have asked passers-by if parking was paid or not. Who directed us, after unloading our suitcases, into a car park. We noticed parking was not free and only paid. In the surrounding streets is indeed only with parking permit. Local residents told that officers check a lot, so be smart and do not risk fines. Parking cost was reasonable, but a pity that the reception did not told us in advance, or has something like a parking permit for guests. This is not very customer friendly. To enter the apartment you have a staircase. There is a new elevator, but it does not work. There is a handicapt logo, probably a disabled lift. And it seems to be working with a type of electronic key which we do not have. Therefore suitcases are lifted up the stairs by manpower! Upon entering the apartment first impression is very good. IKEA furniture. Looks very modern and new. Kitchen has a cooking island. Nice big flatscreen TV. WiFi works fine. Bar stools at kitchen island. Refrigerator clean. Enough kitchen utensils provided. Dishwasher was very nice! It all looks neat and clean. Bathroom also super! New shower. Beds were neatly done. 2 separate bedrooms, shared living room. Fine for 4 people 2 couples). But the first night we noticed the curtains didn't close. Is more ornamental. Were a kind Luxaflex, but that could not run. Since the summer has short nights/darkness, I went to bed while the sun still shone in the room. And when I awoke, the sun was shining right in my face. Distracting! Luckily I was not going to sleep anymore, but then become very difficult if you would like to. Also, you could see people walking on the street, so they could see me lying. Very strange! And not a sense of privacy when you are lying in bed. Chang of clothes done in the bathroom instead of bedroom. Smoking is prohibited inside, but there is also no balcony. Smoking done in front/outside. Also at night. We still had a weird moment outside. During the smoking came a drunken man suddenly sitting next to us. On a weeknight. He was talking crazy, but shortly thereafter went away. was a bit typical of the neighborhood, so was my feeling. Yet we do have entertained us. The first day we watched Stavanger town. Good walking distance of downtown. And the day on went to the Pulpit Rock Preikestolen) for hiking. We had 2 nights at Stavanger Lille Hotel. Was fine for 2 nights but for longer I would have had more problems with bad Luxaflex. Checkout easy. Simply deposit keys in a kind of box for the cleaning lady and leave. Therefore, there was no feedback possible with the reception itself. If parking problem was told by reception before redirecting: +1 star. If Luxaflex problem was fixed and could close) : +1 star.
