Bidra med feedbackI ordered from Grub Hub the business calls me to order from them and cancels the order through Grub Hub. They mess up the order and I wait 3 and a half hours for the order. They kept my money and did not deliver food. Thieves! It must be a new management this place use to be great and I was excited to be back to Staten Island for it. Not anymore. AVOID!
Very frustrated with this restaurant. I ordered lunch from them using online ordering and never received a salad from the order a week and a half ago. I called the restaurant and asked to be refunded the cost of the salad. Instead of a refund I was charged again. I have now paid twice for a salad I never got. Spoke to them several times about this issue, and the owner blamed the online ordering system. Fair enough, but we are now a week and a half later with no refund. At first I spoke to a very lovely and helpful young lady who worked there, but eventually spoke to the owner. Almost a week ago and he swore he would call me back and refund me from his own till if he had to. Alas, I received no phone call, and have not yet heard back from him after calling to complain again. So in summation, I paid twice for an item I never got and he owner failed to follow up even though he promised he would. I contacted the online ordering system and they got back to me the same day. They informed me the company never contacted them, and refunded me on the spot. I will never order from them again. I will happily give my hard earned cash to Better, which has good food and customer service. Shame on the owners of Mangia, for scamming a school teacher and then blaming a small business for their mistake.
Yesterday I ordered 4 lunches for myself and my co-workers, the salad with chicken had a bad odor, and my colleague threw it out, how do you ruin a Tuna Hero, put it on wheat with no mayo and dry as a bone, thrown out also...the other two lunches were fine, but small portions...I don't believe for one minute had the owner or manager over looked this order, would it have left the store like this...50+ dollars lost...I wish them success, however someone has to step up and examine what and how the food is prepared and presented...one and done...sorry about the negativity...but it is honest....
I love the chicken quinoa soup. It's hearty, filling and delicious. I had the protein wrap and that was delicious, too. The inside of the place needs some love, but the food is good and healthy. I've ordered from there a few times.
Very disappointed with this place. ordered 3 things all fails. Guac wasnt terrible despite the portion being the size of a jello shot accompanied with a mountain of dry, stale, pita triangles. the Hummus was tasteless, unseasoned, and in the same half a urine sample container. my high hopes were gor the Acai bowl. if this is someones first impression of an acai bowl please i urge you try another one.. this is not what they were intended to be! the fruit was frozen solid.. not unmanagable until you get to a frozen strawberry.. wtf are you supposed to do with a strawberry rock. the actual acai tasted like they used too much concentrate almost chemically. but the icing on the awful cake was two frozen solid pucks of Nutella. it looked like fog p in January and didn't defrost for an hour. was super excited for this place, but horrible experience.
