Frangos Piri Piri Chicken - Stamford

Absolutely great chicken. We tried it for the first time and found the service to be prompt and pleasant. They seem like genuinely kind people who love talking about their chicken and the process by which they make it. The chicken is tasty and the sauce is great. We got the hot sauce and it was a tad spicy but not overwhelming. They had a really unique selection of drinks that we haven't seen at other places. Overall a great experience and we are most definitely putting Frangos into our rotation of places to eat in Stamford!

Second time here in a week which should tell you everything you need to know. Delicious chicken and GREAT service. I came flying off of the parkway at 7:55 last week and realized I had nothing to eat at home. I pulled in at 7:57 and these two smiling faces were there to greet me, not upset that I was there 3 minutes before closing- I truly appreciate a place that will honor their hours until the last minute. When I got home and finally got a chance to eat, the food was even better than the service. Thank you so much to the owner Margherita who was super friendly and accommodating! Please don't just pass this place by. The food is absolutely amazing!

A little gem on our way to Stamford nature center. We ordered fries and a whole chicken. Everything was fresh- even the fries tasted like they were just peeled, sliced and fried. I grew up eating Portuguese style chicken- the sauce is a nice twist on a traditional dish. We had extra hot sauce on the side and it was just the right amount of heat.

This Frangos Piri Piri Chicken first-timer had some of their chicken and a side salad to go today. The salad dressing was very good and the chicken with X Hot sauce was spot on. This is the kind of sauce you sop up with rice, fries, bread, or pretty much anything you can get your hands on, or even just your fingers (don 't judge me, please). Service was friendly and quick. I will have to get back there soon to try their wings, ribs and other items on their menu. They 're just north of the Merritt Parkway on High Ridge Rd. Give 'em a try!
