This Frangos Piri Piri Chicken first-timer had some of their chicken and a side salad to go today. The salad dressing was very good and the chicken with X Hot sauce was spot on. This is the kind of sauce you sop up with rice, fries, bread, or pretty much anything you can get your hands on, or even just your fingers (don 't judge me, please). Service was friendly and quick. I will have to get back there soon to try their wings, ribs and other items on their menu. They 're just north of the Merritt Parkway on High Ridge Rd. Give 'em a try!
Amazing! Their chicken is cooked over charcoal which makes it like a BBQ year round. Secrete hot sauces and salad dressings deliver the goods every time. Service is great and owner is so nice. This isn 't fast food so call ahead or be patient if you pick up but the food is well worth the wait. Nice clean food with great protein and veggie only options if you 're not into carbs. Keep it up!
Very nice owners and also Tesla lovers like myself! I love the chicken it's different and you can get it put into a sandwich as well. They have some great desserts. Parking is pretty good for a smaller sized place. I recommend it!
Having recently toured in Portugal and South Africa, I was excited to try the Piri Piri Chicken from Frangos. I hoped to find a local source for this delicious treatment of chicken. But what a disappointment! The chicken was taken out of a drawer below the grill and reheated. It was saw-dust dry! Even the thigh was barely edible, and the breast was not. If you have to have Piri Piri Chicken in Connecticut, go buy a Costco rotisserie chicken and pour Piri Piri sauce on it.
