Bidra med feedbackMy friend and I had a great afternoon at Broadway Oyster Bar. We sat for a few hours, listened to music and had cancers, all fun. It's delicious. At the end of the afternoon, my friend and I put our credit cards to share the price, and one of the cards was temporarily lost. The bartender, far from friendly, refused to believe that my friend had offered his card. Finally, after someone who worked there, it found that the bartender did not provide an excuse for the loss of the card. It's safe, but the afternoon was spoiled. I loved the atmosphere, and I get that bar was busy, but this lousy attitude ruined the focus of experience. The bartender also complained about New Orleans, although the food and experience are based on this city. Weird.
For the first time in Broadway Oyster Bar. We were there on Monday night. It wasn't busy. I felt it might not have lived to my expectations. For me, not everyone's food at a time (we had three people) is a great art peas. Asking the third meal is very disappointing. To deliver a steak without a knife is not cool either. I had the Parmesan pommes and hands down below were the worse pommes I've ever had. I didn't know you could screw up those fries. My husband had the sampler and said it was good, but not enough to be afraid to return. Overall a disappointing experience and it's living up to reputation.
Great food, freshly made in sight. The best grilled oysters I had outside NewOrleans. I also had the shrimps and grits, unique Croquette Verse loose grits. It made a nice change.
Great place. Very busy, but no impact on great service. Fresh, fresh, fresh made to order food (almost service also)! Super cajun (acky) atmosphere live entertainment too. Great for shellfish, seafood, burger, chicken more!
We found this on the TripAdvisor app looking for places nearby to eat. We were so pleasantly surprised with everything; atmosphere, food, service, drinks, bar, patrons, music, everything. We waited a short time for a table, got a drink from the bar, and by the time we took one sip our table was ready. We were brought through to the back room (looks like someone's old living room) and it was just a really cool experience. All servers and runners were BUSY! But gave us great service. We started with the OYSTERS BIENVILLE, they were amazing, my husband even braved one and went back for another, he is not a fan of oysters at all. I had the crawfish Mona, and my husband had the shrimp voodoo tacos, both were awesome. I would've loved to take my leftovers home, but we were flying out the next AM, I was tempted to try and take it on the plane, it was amazing! After dinner we decided to visit the outside bar and got a drink. There was live music and the place was packed (there was a Cardinals game later on). We loved it and even talked to a few other patrons who used to live there and were just in town visiting and said they always go there when coming home. I have zero complaints about this place and highly recommend if you're ever even close to the area I can't wait to go back.
