Bidra med feedbackMiracle is always the best time!! They really do have everything down to a science with the whole process so that everyone who wants to, can get a chance to have a drink. The decor is obviously off the charts and I think it's hilarious that they moved the formerly motorized Santa to the top of the tree so no one could break him this year! Granted, the drinks can be pricey but you're paying for the ambiance and the experience..I mean who doesn't want to drink a Christmas cocktail out of a T Rex wearing a Santa hat?! The only think that kept me from buying the glass was that you had to drink out of it with a straw but still..so fun! Over the years, I've been a few times with friends but this time, I went alone and without a reservation in the hopes that a seat was available and that it wouldn't be awkward and I scored on both counts! There was a seat open at the bar and everyone was super nice! The bartender (Kyle) made great recommendations and didn't make me feel like a weirdo for being there alone and one of the other servers offered to take my pic and even set up a couple of props just right on the bar. I plan on dropping in again and having a drink later in the evening, keeping my fingers crossed that there's a seat open. Go get your Christmas cheer on..I double dog dare you to not be enchanted!
This was such an immersive experience! Small Change is cool bar in the Benton Park neighborhood and I 'd been wanting to visit.... Turns out this was a good night to check them out and experience The Miracle! The holiday decorations were 'magical ' and literally wall to wall! The staff was festive and kind! They all dressed in holiday outfits. What 's cool about Miracle is that they brand EVERYTHING--the glasses, the coasters, the drinks, the snacks. I also really appreciated that we were able to walk in and enjoy the experience--no reservation required. We tried the Feliz Navidad (great Mezcal cocktail...I really liked it but can 't think of what it reminded me of), Holiday Hopes (similar to a Manhattan), Elfing Around (like a great holiday brunch cocktail...a little sweeter than a Poinsettia), and a Christmas Cricket (which tasted like an Andy 's Chocolate Mint)! We also decided to buy some Miracle swag, which was reasonable priced and super cute festive!
I was driving around Benton Park a few weeks back, and I saw the lights and I straight up Looked like Macaulay Caulkin from the Home Alone movie poster,... busted a slightly irregular u turn and steeped right up to a very festive and cool seasonal bar. I literally walked in slightly parked, and ready to see if I could not catch a whiff of the holiday spirit. No reservation, hella busy, but they saw me right to a cozy table in the back and hooked me up with the best **** seasonal drink I had this past holiday outside of mulled wine. I ordered the Yippee Kay Yay M In honor of my fourth fav Christmas movie of all time! I see. A staff member repping a Gremlins Christmas sweater repping my numero uno fav Xmas film, and knew I made the right choice. My drink was festive and refreshing, plus mint AND tiki garnish in a mug that looked like Santa had be chopped in two and they served it out of his rotund lower half. Never did make it back in when my friend was in town, but she might swing back thru in Feb and hopefully there will be a Valentine 's Day themed spot then!
We went to the restaurant without a reservation, but only had to wait about five minutes for a table. However, if you're a walk-in, you’re limited to an hour at your table. This venue is a pop-up and is set to close at the beginning of January, based on what I've heard. We visited for date night and ordered a Christmaspolitan and a Snowball Old Fashioned. The service was excellent; our server checked on us frequently! The atmosphere was warm and inviting. Just a heads up—there’s no food available, but they do have a vending machine, and you can also get cocktails to go.
We've visited twice this year, and both experiences were excellent. Normally, this is one of our go-to spots (under the name Small Change). The decor is an overwhelming yet delightful mix that's full of character. The drinks and shots are strong and delicious. It's become a wonderful Christmas tradition for us. Harrison is the best bartender we've ever met!
