Sandwhich was great but chicken broth veggie soup was burnt at the bottom... the sandwhiches we had was worth giving this place another shot

Great sandwiches and wraps prepared with fresh ingredients, served by friendly staff, in a great City neighborhood. When I head to Cherokee Street it's generally for tacos, so I'd never heard of this place until a colleague suggested it for lunch recently. Very reasonably priced too! If you cross Jefferson Avenue to explore the even livelier section of Cherokee Street, be sure to assume cars don't see you and they aren't going to stop for you LOL. So, act accordingly, and you'll be golden!

I happened upon Elaine's on Cherokee Street unexpectedly. The cafe we usually visit nearby was closed, so we decided to give it a try. We were pleasantly surprised by how delicious the sandwiches were. We will definitely be returning when we are back in Saint Louis.
