El Tapatio Authentic Mexican

First time dining here and I was seated automatically despite it being taco Tuesday and the place being packed. The food didn't take very long and was pretty good. I ordered half chicken and half beef tacos. Both came with cheese and lettuce. Straight to the point but filled up on a budget. Our server was nice and moved fast.. Will be returning.

I've been to lots of Mexican restaurants and their Mexican rice is the best I've ever had! Great food, staff and atmosphere.

I came in just for quick grab and go. Ordered 2 tacos and a horchata. The tacos were good but lacked a presentation, to say the least. The biggest issue was the fact that they gave me a small drink while charging me for a large. Basically, cause they didn't have a lid for the large cup.

The food was average at best, and the ambiance left much to be desired. The restaurant looks like it was a converted Pizza Hut from the early 90s that never got a proper remodel. The server was friendly, however. There are better Mexican restaurants in STL.

Good food, reasonably priced. The service is great.
