Farotto's - St Louis

AMAZING!! If you want delicious Italian food...highly recommend. Service was on point.

First time at Farotto’s, atmosphere was great, service was excellent and food was really good! Pizza was really good, our appetizers fried artichokes and roasted ravioli were very yummy! Everything was great except risotto was not good! It wasn’t a risotto rice and didn’t have any flavor! But overall we will be back!

We have lived in St. Louis for about 3 years and this place is always full of people so I really wanted to try it. We finally came in this past weekend. On a beautiful Saturday night the wait was about 1 hour.Once seated, service was attentive and very kind. Ultimately, my rating comes down to the food. My family and I found the food quite bland. We ordered the chicken fettuccine Alfredo, spicy pappardelle, and the salmon. The fettuccine Alfredo was fine but the chicken had an off texture. The spicy meatball pappardelle was not spicy, tasted like pasta in unseasoned tomato sauce. And the salmon and risotto were overcooked and too dry. We had some leftovers which we took home, however we did not eat them.Compared to nearby Italian restaurants, the price is about $5 less per head and the portions large, so perhaps the quality level is fair. I also noticed this place leans into the St. Louis style fare like provel cheese, St. Louis style pizza, etc. I do not like those items but I think a large number of locals do so perhaps that is a draw for people.All in all, we probably won’t go back.

What a great Monday funday ! usually, I just think ravioli are, well ravioli but not these toasted ravioli obviously homemade. The chicken wings which we wouldn’t ordinarily order at an Italian restaurant were fantastic with a little twist of garlic. Our pizza was delicious. I Cannot wait to go back and try other things.

I had a server named jason he was so sweet to me n my family and i told him what my taste buds were working with being pregnant and we settled on a marguerita pizza with chili oil added .my father had tuscan shrimp n risotto. My toddlers had cheese pizza n my teen had seafood canneloni. Everything from the atmosphere to the food was amazing . Its super clean even down to the bathrooms! For my first time it was wonderful .i will definitely be coming back without kids for a date night with my husband
