The Newfoundland Embassy

When they say the 'friendliest pub in the north Atlantic ' they truly mean it. This pub is our favourite spot to go downtown. Always great music, food, custard cones, and service. And they have pool and a deadly rooftop patio. 10/10 would recommend.

Discovered this gem of a pub after an afternoon of shopping on Water St. This pub is one, if not the nicest pub I’ve ever been to. The staff is very friendly and welcoming! Great selection of drinks and fabulous atmosphere. And Lars custard cone, wow! I will definitely go back to this pub on my next trip to St. John’s. Love it!

The variety of beer they have is astounding, their staff are very friendly and knowledgeable, their food is fresh and made in house, and the love music they host is always a hit. With a dining area, bar area, deck and a pool table there is something to be found for everyone! The Newfoundland Embassy is a must see for locals and visitors alike!

Our favourite Pub. Recommmend sitting at the bar. Whether it's Nick, Niall or Brendan pouring drinks you're sure to be treated to genuine local hospitality. Plan accordingly time flies when you're having fun!
