Pengenna Pasties - St Ives

I would have given 5 stars but as it's not fully vegan can only give 4. Had a couple of the vegan vegetable pasties and they were really good. The pastry was light unlike others I had.

Fun to be able to do the local tourist thing to do and have some proper Cornish pastiesWent for vegan cheese onion which was proper flakey, fatty and oozing with cheese, and we also had a fruit scone.

Love that they have so many vegan options. There were at least three savoury and three sweet things. The scones were so good.

Although it isn't specifically not nice, it's the worst Cornish pasty I've had (I've only really had nice ones). Basically just a large pasty stuffed with bland veg. £4.50. Staff were lovely but we didnt even eat half of it unfortunately.

Not sure why the reviews are so good! Yes the pasty was massive. But it was just peppered veg inside with no gravy, sauce or spices! It was very, very blandI’d give one of the other places a go if I went to st Ives again
